Dad's ask
There's no confirmed bug report for this, but players have a few fixes that go beyond what he's tried.
- Check for invaded areas. Supply drops won't spawn in Southwest while it has an invaded (purple) zone or any enemy-held control point. Make sure both No Hope Hotel and The Choke are still green.
- Try the Dark Zone checkpoint trick. Walk into a Dark Zone checkpoint, then walk right back out. On Reddit, players say this makes Manhunt activities like supply drops spawn quickly. It reloads the world in a way that logging out apparently doesn't.
- Clear other activities first. Southwest only runs a few open-world events at once. Finishing whatever else is up there (propaganda broadcasts, executions, and so on) frees a slot, and one player said a drop showed up after 5 to 10 minutes of doing that.
- Drop to Normal difficulty. The step counts at any difficulty, and Prima Games suggests lowering it.
Also, the drop has to happen inside the Southwest district. One in East Mall or anywhere else won't count. If none of this works, his best bet is reporting it to Ubisoft Support so it gets on record.
